Bring your broken body to me...

And I'll kiss away,
Your tears,
And then I'll prepare,
A sumptuous supper,
Like you haven't seen,
In years.

I'll tenderly stroke,
Your face,
And then I'll take,
Your hand in mine,
You'll have a tingle,
Down your spine,
As we drink the last,
Of the best wine.

I'll lead you to the rug,
And I'll lay you out,
So sweet,
My hair will drape,
Across your chest,
As I kiss down;
For you there's no retreat.

People come,
And people go,
But it's not like that,
For us,
Forever mine,
Forever yours,
In our world of two,
Our own universe.

There's a memory tucked inside of me

Inside of me so deep, Burnt into my retina, When awake & when asleep. It's like a bad smell, That just won't go, It rattle...
